Ahh, Paris, we made it. After almost a full day of travel, stopping through Dubai and Heathrow, we were still super pumped at 10pm Parisian time. This was a combination of it still being daylight, the excitement of reaching our final destination alive, and well general over tiredness. Booking a transfer from the airport directly to our apartment was fantastic, could not recommend it more. After such a long journey and being in a foreign country with your whole life packed into a bag, last thing you want to do is try and navigate public transport or hail a taxi. It was expensive for the transfer, but we paid for the peace of mind. We had already scoped the area of our apartment on google maps, so the area and its obvious graffiti was not surprising to us. Our drivers skills on the road were a little terrifying, everyone seems to drive like a maniac. We found our apartment which had an automatic gate with an access code.
